O'AHU - 'The Gathering Place
Land area: 597sq miles
(it is the 3rd largest hawaiian island) It is the most populated out of all the Hawaiian islands, it is also the most frequently visited. There are many historic sites such as: military bases and many beautiful beaches and hotels. The locals call this Island "the mainland" it gets that name from the downtown metropolitan area.

They have decided that it is more profitable to market their two private resorts and golf courses than to farm pineapple.

Only people of Hawaiian ancestry live here ... ..there are no resorts and you can't spend your vacation on this island.
